The Leadership Institute will provide opportunities for more junior women of color to seek confidential mentoring advice from a more senior attorney. . . . If you are interested in participating as a mentor, please email Keisha Hudson directly at Keisha.Hudson@specialcounsel.com by February 20, 2009 to confirm and for additional details. This year’s mentees will have the opportunity to interact with mentors during three scheduled sessions. They are as follows:
Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during the reception at Georgia Pacific
Thursday, March 5, 2009 during the breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Mentors are not required to sign up for specific times. Instead, during these sessions mentees will be encouraged to seek out mentors for advice on everything from firm politics, career advancement, how to stand out in this economy and other relevant topics. This informal structure will allow for more flexibility for both our mentors and mentees.
Again, please confirm your participation as a mentor by Friday, February 20th along with a photo, your firm name, law school and practice areas.
We are looking forward to another outstanding conference and will be forwarding additional information in the coming weeks.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing you in March!

We welcome college juniors, seniors and law students to participate in the conference.  Read more
