The Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys, Inc. has reserved single rooms at the Downtown Atlanta Ritz-Carlton for March 18th and 19th, 2010 at a rate of $209.00 which is a discounted group rate. http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/Atlanta/Default.htm All room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes currently: CITY: 4%; STATE 4%; OCCUPANCY 7% IN EFFECT AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN. All reservations should be made no later than Friday, February 19, 2010 and guaranteed with a major credit card.

The cab ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Please note that Atlanta is home to more than one Ritz-Carlton. Please ask the cab driver to take you to the downtown Ritz.

Via Marta
The hotel is located less than one block from the Peacthree Center MARTA train station. From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport: follow the signs inside the airport to “Ground Transportation” and look for MARTA station nearby. Take the North line to the N1 Peachtree Center. Upon exiting the train, go toward the Ellis Street exit. You will go up the two set of stairs or you may take the elevator. Once you reach Peachtree Street, turn right and the hotel is half a block on your right. The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta is at the corner of Ellis and Peachtree streets. The fare is $1.75 one way (plus a one time charge of $0.50 for a Breeze Card).

From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport: follow the signs inside the airport to “Ground Transportation.” Reservations are not needed from the airport. The cost is $16.50 one way or $29 round trip. Roundtrip tickets must be purchased at the airport before departing. The shuttle makes multiple stops in Downtown Atlanta; The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta pick up and drop off times are 12 minutes and 42 minutes after the hour between 6 am and midnight.
