A Full Day of Programming Ahead
We have a full agenda of valuable programming planned for you today. Our keynote luncheon speaker, Anna-Lisa Corrales, general counsel and secretary of Jaguar Land Rover and our keynote Networking Reception speaker, Phyllis P. Harris, senior vice president and chief compliance officer at WalMart will be presenting. Additionally, Ruthe Catolico Ashley, Paulette Brown, Marla Butler, Charmaine Slack, Hassia Diolombi, Joanna Garcia and Dawn Siler-Nixon will present during the Opening Plenary session. During the afternoon break-out sessions, representatives of the Federal District Court, the Hon. Mary Scriven and
the Hon. J. Michelle Childs, will share their experiences relative to using their J.D. in the public sector.
LIWOCA continues its unwavering commitment to fueling the Pipeline. Five students will each receive a $3,000 scholarship to help fund their legal education compliments of our scholarship sponsor McGuireWoods during the scholarship luncheon sponsored by DLA Piper US. Our student track will feature Law School Deans to guide college students and first year law students in their pursuit of a legal career. We look forward to another year of networking, mentoring, training and seizing business development opportunities.
